01

Overview

Why Vectron exists

Vectron was founded in 2009 by controls engineers who had spent years commissioning other people’s machines. They saw that most automation problems were specification problems rather than robot problems: systems built before anyone had written down what they had to do.

The company has grown to about 70 people, but works the same way. We write down what a system must do before choosing the hardware, test logic against a simulation before it reaches the floor, and run factory acceptance with your own operators.

When a measured result misses its specification, the commissioning record says so — and shows how it will be closed. We stay with installed systems through support, and we take over systems built by others.

Disciplines

Six engineering disciplines under one roof

Projects are staffed from one team, so interfaces between robot, controls, vision and data are owned by the same people.

01

Robotics & handling

Cell design, reach and cycle simulation, gripper engineering, robot programming and safety configuration.

02

Controls, HMI & SCADA

PLC and safety-PLC engineering to a written standard, operator screens, alarm management, supervisory systems.

03

Machine vision & inspection

Feasibility on real samples, optics and lighting, defect libraries and challenge-set testing.

04

Networking & production data

Network segmentation, OPC UA / MQTT connectivity, historians, OEE and downtime reporting.

05

Electrical design & panel building

Schematics, panel design and in-house build with pre-wiring for planned cutovers.

06

Service & support

Remote and on-site support, backups, health checks and modernization planning.

How we work

Specify, simulate, test — then install

Every project follows the same eight steps, with a signed deliverable at each one.

Support

We stay with what we build

Every system leaves with its documentation, software backups and a named support contact. Support agreements set response times, health checks and spare-parts advice; systems built by other integrators can be taken over after an audit.
